May 13, 2006: A new class by Susan Johnson entitled Bra Fitting and Body Image has been added on Wednesday.
May 10, 2006: Dr. Ousterhout's FFS presentation has been cancelled. Stephanie Cohu's transition class has been cancelled and replaced with another installment of Suzanne Adams' self defense class for people arriving for the Wednesday-Sunday plan. Details have been added for Brenda Lefebvre's hair and transition documentation classes.
May 9, 2006: Kellie Spradlin and her partner Debbie welcome you to their shop on Saturday and Sunday from 9AM-6PM. They will also be providing onsite nail services from 9AM-6PM Mon-Thurs (possibly Friday too). See their biography for more details and contact information.
May 7, 2006: Friday's and Saturday's entertainment (but not the meals) are open to the public for a donation/cover charge that is donated to Clallum County Hospice. This draws a small number of Esprit supporters from town and people who otherwise may not have been able to attend for the duration of the available registration packages. The Monday pool tournament and The Nasty Habits shows are in public clubs/restaurants and are also open to the public.
May 5, 2006: Karen Brown, a long time Esprit presenter and vendor of the beautiful line of Fifth Avenue Jewelry returns once again. She teaches classes in perfecting your wardrobe and mastering accessories.
May 5, 2006: Due to an unavoidable scheduling conflict, Esprit is unable to guarantee the presence of anyone from Dr. Ousterhout's office. Esprit and Dr. Ousterhout's office will continue to work together to try to arrange a speaker.
May 1, 2006: The Gottschalk's makeup course has been defined. The cosmetics staff will also be taking appointments for one-on-one consultations.
May 1, 2006: Dr. Stephen Brown's courses have been updated. "HRT for FTM's" has been cancelled and replaced with "General Medical Care for MTF's". He has also graciously made himself available for general medical and HRT consultations between Wednesday night and Friday morning.
April 26, 2006: With only a couple weeks before Esprit, your webmistress wants to wish you good fortune for your upcoming trip. Enjoy the *genuine* fortune cookie fortunes!
April 24, 2006: We have booked a dedicated onsite photographer. In addition to Stephanie Mitchell who will be taking yearbook and friendship card portraits, our new photographer will be available to fill more specialized requests. More details coming soon.
April 19, 2006: Several local stores and Esprit vendors have been added to the banners page.
April 18, 2006: The block of discounted Esprit rooms is sold out. You may still be able to get a retail rate room or a last-minute cancellation of a discount room. Call the hotel directly (not the national reservation number) to see what's available. Don't delay on your Esprit registration either...guarantee your spot and send in your registration form and fee as soon as possible.
April 16, 2006: The Red Lion is undergoing an exciting and major facelift. Rooms have new furniture, new color schemes, and bathrooms will be remodeled. All this work will be done just in time for us!
April 8, 2006: More SO program activities added, including an open-to-all morning walk every morning.
April 7, 2006: A large slate of SO program classes--some for couples only, some for SO's only--has been posted on the schedule with descriptions on Dotti Berry's page. Note that the courses run slightly longer than the normal class slot.
April 3, 2006: Esprit is pleased to welcome the Gottschalks department store cosmetics team to the slate of presenters. They will present a basic makeup class.
March 31, 2006: Basic makeup and wig classes by Master Hair Care and additional classes and presenters have been added to the master schedule.
March 19, 2006: A major set of course additions has been posted to the master schedule. The schedule is subject to change as additional presenters are added and reorganized.
March 16, 2006: The schedule and prices for the Victoria BC High Tea at The Empress Hotel have been posted.
March 15, 2006: Christina Fletcher of Authentic Creations Studio returns to Esprit to offer her unique makeup and wig services, techniques, and makeup accessories.
March 6, 2006: A sizable group of major presenters has been confirmed. This group includes prominent surgeons, seminars on HRT, political topics, and dealing with coming out. See the Biography page for details. Class times are currently being finalized and will be added to the schedule as soon as possible.
March 1, 2006: Scholarship applications are closed. We will be evaluating applications and making tuition awards shortly.

February 6, 2006: Calling all saloon girls! Karen Wood, the coordinator of the Tuesday card tournament, is looking for about 5 volunteers to be saloon girls and to help out with the tournament. Some sort of period outfit is required (saloon girl, flapper, or anything else suitable). Please contact Karen if you're interested.
January 17, 2006: Registration is open and scholarship applications are being accepted. We recommend that you register and apply as soon as possible.
January 16, 2006: Extensive planning is wrapping up and we expect to have registration and scholarships open within days.
January 16, 2006: The official theme for the Saturday Gala is "The Electric Princess Ball."
Sept 14, 2005: 2006 framework published. The site will be updated frequently between now and Esprit. In particular, the schedule, the vendor and presenter bios, and the events will solidify quickly over the coming months.
Aug 8, 2005: Dates for Esprit 2006 are Sunday May 14 - Sunday May 21.
